Data Request Form

Step 1: Time Zone and Date Range Selection

Please complete the following form by selecting the: (1) appropriate time zone;(2) date range; and (3) time resolution for the dataset you are requesting.

(1) Time Zone: Begin by choosing the time zone that best suits your data analysis needs, as this will affect how dates and times are displayed and how the daily statistics are calculated.

(2) Date Range: Next, select the start and end times for your dataset, ensuring that the start date is no earlier than May 1, 2007, and that the end date is after the start date.

(3) Time Resolution: Finally, choose the time resolution (e.g., daily, hourly) for how you would like the data to be summarized. Ensure all fields are correctly filled out before proceeding to the next step.

All data are 5-minute observations.
Hourly statistics are values averaged over 60 minute period.
Daily statistics are values averaged over the 24 hours of the calendar day. Values are averaged from midnight-to-midnight.
Local Time is the current local time at a station, adjusted for daylight saving time if applicable
The primary time standard by which the world regulates clocks and time across time zones.

Step 2: Measurement System and Variable Selection

In this step, you will choose the units (e.g., metric or imperial) and specific variables you need. Please note that certain data types have specific availability; for example, pressure data are available after 2015, soil data are available at select stations after 2010, and inversion data are available at select stations after 2017. If you encounter any errors, review your selections before proceeding.

* Pressure data available after 2015

* Soil data available at selected stations after 2010

* Inversion data available at selected stations after 2017

System of measurement using units such as meters, kilograms, and Celsius.
Imperial system of measurement, using units such as feet, pounds, and Fahrenheit. Primarily used in the United States.

  • Step 3: Station Selection

In this step, you will select your stations. Please be aware of the following data availability restrictions: pressure data is available from stations after 2015, soil data from stations with soil instrumentation after 2010, and inversion data from stations with inversion instrumentation after 2017. For more information, hover or tap on the selected stations.

    * Pressure data available after 2015

    * Soil data available at selected stations after 2010

    * Inversion data available at selected stations after 2017

Step 4: Contact Information and Agreement

In this final step, please provide your contact information, including your name, email address, and sector. Your email address is required if you wish to receive further communication regarding your data request. Additionally, you must specify how you plan to use the data and add any comments or notes that might help us better understand your request.
